In the air (dry), it is easily weathered into a powder, and when heated, it gradually dehydrates and turns into anhydrous magnesium sulfate. This product does not contain any toxic impurities. Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, because it is not easily soluble, is easier to weigh than anhydrous magnesium sulfate, facilitating quantitative control in the industry.
